Nestled in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain, Andorra is a small but influential nation known for its wealth, beauty, and strong secular culture. While Catholicism is predominant, true Gospel-centered Christian witness is rare, making Andorra a unique and important mission field.

Our Leaders in Andorra
Pastors Steve and Annette Horning bring decades of ministry experience and a deep heart for reaching the lost. Before moving to Andorra, they served as missionaries in Argentina for over 20 years.
Pastor Steve is originally from California and Pastor Annette is a native of South Africa. Both are fluent Spanish speakers with a strong cross-cultural calling.
Their years of international ministry have uniquely equipped them to serve in a diverse and spiritually resistant environment.
Establishing the Church
The Hornings are currently establishing a local Christian church in Andorra — the only Gospel-centered Christian church in the nation.
This growing congregation is international in nature, made up largely of people from various nations who now call Andorra home. Through discipleship, worship, and the teaching of the Word, lives are being transformed as people encounter Jesus for the first time.
Pro-Life Advocacy & Community Impact
In addition to church planting, the Hornings work closely with local pro-life initiatives. They were instrumental in helping establish Andorra’s first pro-life group, standing boldly for life in a culture where biblical values are often absent.
This work reflects HSMI’s commitment to advancing the Gospel not only through preaching, but also through action, compassion, and truth.
