Leadership
Wilco & Lydia Venter
Married in 1990, Wilco and his wife, Lydia, encountered Christ in the early 1990s, a life-changing moment that marked the beginning of their journey in ministry and wholehearted service to God. Since then, they have devoted their lives to serving others through YASHA Ministry International, a mission working across South Africa and Kenya, where they served as missionaries for 24 years.
Their calling is to teach and preach the message of the cross to all—both the marginalized and the affluent—proclaiming that true transformation begins when a person embraces their identity in Christ. They believe this revelation is the key to a victorious life and that, as Scripture teaches, signs and wonders follow believers as evidence of God’s living power.
Their ministry is not only spoken but lived out daily through hospitality, gardening, arts and crafts, and practical service—expressing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Together, they have raised many children, adopted six, and now delight in the blessing of three grandchildren.
Having embraced a life fully surrendered to Christ, they seek to live poured out for Him—like a drink offering—joyfully laying down their lives so that others may encounter His grace. They currently serve at Alabanza Ministry in Pretoria, South Africa.
